Terms of Service

1. Booking and Reservations

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to book a villa.

• Accuracy: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all bookings made.

• Confirmation: A booking is only considered confirmed once the required deposit is received and you have received a confirmation email from Santa Teresa Luxury.

2. Payments and Cancellations

• Payments: All rates are quoted in [USD/CRC]. Payment schedules (deposits and final balances) will be outlined during the booking process.

• Cancellations: Cancellation policies vary by villa and season. Please refer to your specific booking agreement for the cancellation window and potential refund eligibility.

3. Use of Property

• Guest Conduct: Guests are expected to treat the villas and staff with respect. Excessive noise, illegal activities, or exceeding the maximum occupancy of a villa (e.g., 8-9 guests depending on the property) are grounds for immediate eviction without refund.

• Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay. We reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for such damages.

4. Services & Activities

Santa Teresa Luxury provides concierge services, including arranging surf lessons, yoga, and tours. While we work with reputable local partners, Santa Teresa Luxury acts only as an intermediary and is not liable for injuries or losses sustained during third-party activities.

5. Weddings and Events

Events and weddings must be authorized in writing prior to booking. Additional fees and specific event contracts will apply for use of the grounds for ceremonies.

6. Limitation of Liability

Santa Teresa Luxury and its owners shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from your stay, including but not limited to travel delays, natural disasters, or personal injury, to the fullest extent permitted by Costa Rican law.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Costa Rica.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.”
